The short version: Specatro is a game about market history. It is not financial advice and it never involves real money.

Who these terms are between

Specatro is made by an independent developer in India ("we"). By downloading or playing Specatro you agree to these terms. You also agree to the terms of the store you got it from (Google Play, the Apple App Store or Steam), which apply alongside these.

The game and the full unlock

Specatro has a free demo and a one-time full unlock. The unlock gives you a personal licence to play the full game on your own devices through the account you bought it with. You do not buy the game's code or content. There are no subscriptions and no other purchases.

No real money

The cash you earn in the game is not real money. It cannot be bought, sold, traded or cashed out, and it has no value outside the game. Calling a chart UP or DOWN is not a bet and nothing is staked.

Not investment advice

Specatro is an educational game. The events are real and dated, but the instruments and charts are fictional and generated. Nothing in the game or on this website is a recommendation to buy or sell any security, and what happens in the game says nothing about what will happen in a real market. We aim to describe events accurately but do not guarantee that every detail is correct.

Purchases and refunds

Google Play, Apple or Steam takes your payment and handles refunds under its own policy. You can restore your unlock on a new device from the game's options. These terms do not limit any consumer rights you have under the law where you live, including in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom.

Who can play

Specatro is made for people aged 13 and over.

What you may not do

• Copy, resell or redistribute the game, or pass off its content as your own.
• Reverse-engineer it to do either of those things.
• Use it for anything other than your own personal, non-commercial play.

You are free to share screenshots and videos of your play.

Who owns what

The game, its art, music, sound, writing and code belong to us. The real events it refers to are historical facts and belong to no one.

Your data

See our privacy policy. In short, we collect no personal data.

No warranty, and limits on our liability

We provide Specatro "as is". We try to keep it working, but we do not promise that it will be free of errors or always available. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for anything to do with the game is limited to the amount you paid for the unlock. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit.

Changes and ending

If we change these terms, we will update the date at the top of this page. If you stop agreeing with them, stop playing and delete the game. We may stop your access if you break these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. If you are a consumer in the EEA or the UK, you also keep the benefit of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live.
