Privacy policy
Specatro collects no personal data. Here is what that means in practice.
Last updated 21 October 2026.
In short
- The game has no accounts, no ads and no analytics, and it does not send data to us.
- Your progress is saved on your device.
- The app stores handle payments and, if you use them, achievements and cloud saves.
- This website sets no cookies and loads nothing from other companies.
What the game stores on your device
Specatro saves your settings, your current run, your Almanac of events you have seen, your achievements and whether you have unlocked the full game. These files stay on your device. The game works offline, and the market event data is built into it. We never receive these files.
What the stores and platforms do
We sell the game through Google Play, Steam and the Apple App Store. Each store handles your payment, your receipt and your purchase history under its own privacy policy. We never see your card or payment details. The game asks the store whether you own the full unlock so that it can unlock it, and it does not send that answer anywhere else.
If you use these optional features, the platform stores the data, not us:
- Achievements. Google Play Games, Game Center or Steam record the achievements you earn.
- Cloud saves. Google Play Saved Games, iCloud or Steam Cloud keep a copy of your save so it follows you between devices. Only the save file is stored.
These services are tied to your Google, Apple or Steam account. You can manage or delete that data in the account settings of the platform.
This website
We do not use cookies, trackers or analytics on this website, and its fonts and images are served from the site itself. Our host, Cloudflare, keeps ordinary server logs (such as your IP address and the page you asked for) to deliver the site and keep it secure.
If you email us
If you write to [email protected], we use your email address and message only to reply to you or, if you asked, to tell you when the game launches. We do not share it, and we delete it on request.
Children
Specatro does not ask for or collect personal data from anyone, including children. It has no chat, no user-generated content and no ads. The game involves no real money: its in-game cash cannot be bought, sold or cashed out.
Your rights
Because we hold no personal data about players, there is normally nothing to access or erase. If you emailed us, you can ask to see, correct or delete that email at any time, including under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Write to [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
